He is the "fat kid" the other kids constantly make fun of him because of his weight. He's also the stupid one, who mixes things up, and makes himself look like an idiot. He lives with his hermaphroditic mother, who tries to make him feel better by feeding him "chocolate chicken pot pies" and "Cheezy Poofs". He mainly loves eating Ham, Salisbury steak, chocolate chicken pot pie, Happy Tarts, Snacky Cakes, and Cheesy Poofs. Eric owns a cat called Kitty and a pig named Fluffy. Throughout the year he searched to find out who his father was, only to realize that his mother was his father and his mother is unknown.(His mother posed for Crack Whore Magazine.) When Officer Barbrady is fired for his illiteracy, he becomes Deputy Cartman, and he begins to enforce the law in South Park.Cartman was abducted by Alien, Visitors and had a sattelite shoved up where the sun can't shine. As being on anal probe Cartman's rear end was flaming and sang the song "I love to sing-a." When he and his friends went hunting with Stan's uncle jimbo, he dressed up as the legendary "Skuzzlebutt." Cartman won a national essay contest when he cheated. His award was to be given to him by Kathie Lee Gifford. He got to be on Geraldo because he was so fat he couldn't leave the house. Cartman claims to have flashbacks to when he was in 'Nam.
